Does the AI receptionist sound robotic?
No. It speaks naturally and understands normal speech, so callers say what they need instead of pressing buttons. If they ask for a person, it puts them through.
Is the AI receptionist included in our plan?
No. It’s a paid add-on to the cloud phone system, priced separately and itemised in your quote. The phone system itself comes with the + Services and Complete plans.
What can it tell callers?
Whatever you give it: opening hours, services, directions and common questions. Anything outside that goes to your team.
Can we keep our existing phone numbers?
In almost all cases, yes. We port your numbers and schedule the cut-over so calls keep coming in. Porting fees are $30 for a simple port and up to $330 for a complex one.
Do we need new handsets?
Not necessarily. Staff can use the app on their mobile or computer with a headset. We check whether your current handsets can be reused before quoting new ones.
Does it work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Your status syncs with Teams both ways, so calls stop arriving while you’re in a Teams meeting and resume when it ends.
Will it work on our internet?
Cloud phones need a stable connection. We check yours during the review and can add a backup link. Our networks team is the same team.
Can we call 000?
Cloud phone systems may not support emergency calls to Triple Zero (000). Keep a mobile or landline available for emergencies.
