MacBook Pro – Battery Recall

If you have a 13-inch MacBook Pro that does not have a Touch Bar, you could be a part of the latest battery recall that Apple has issued.

Apple has released an article saying that certain quantities of this laptop may have a fault that causes the built-in battery to expand. You can check if your MacBook is one of the affected ones by entering your serial number into that article, if it is you can bring it in to an Apple authorized service provider for a free replacement battery.

They have said this fault is not a safety concern, but it should still be dealt with quickly.

If you have replaced the battery already yourself, you can also contact Apple about a refund for this.
